Volleyball Courts

Consider repeated jumping, floor contact, net supports and the free zone around the court.

From Serves to Landings

Dedicated volleyball courts and shared school sports areas, with contrasting lines that keep the playing space clear. Padded and elastomer tile options offer different constructions for recreational games and team practice.

Surface feel for practice

Jumping, lateral steps and floor contact make surface feel an important part of volleyball selection. Compare padded and elastomer samples with the footwear used by your players.

Net posts and free space

Map post sockets, padding, tensioning equipment and storage. Keep adjacent activity and movable equipment out of the free zone while the court is in use.

Indoor and outdoor use

Indoor halls prioritize entrances, floor height and net fixings. Outdoor recreation areas also need drainage, expansion space and weather-appropriate installation details.

Adding volleyball to a basketball court? Use a contrasting line color and plan storage for the removable net so the space can switch between activities.
